Uriel Artiaga is an 18-year-old artist from Baltimore, Maryland.
Three years ago during his freshman year of high school, Uriel founded his passion for film through a local district film competition which he won 1st Place in Experimental out of the hundreds of submissions by local Baltimore County art students.
His work has been recognized by the Senate of Maryland in 2018 and has won 1st Place as well as Best Overall for BCPS Film Expo 2017 and 2018; In addition, in 2019, he was a finalist for the Saul Zaents High School Film Festival, a film festival that receives thousands of submissions across the globe.
His work has also been featured in publications/companies/celebrities such as Teen Vogue, Amazon, MidiCi, Baltimore Mayor Campaign, Yahu Rock Blackwell, and many more.
If one could ask “Who is Uriel Art?” the answer is, “someone who believes in hard work.”
